i title this post in honor of my friend Jengi. Dakota was a very special cat to Jen and appeared to her in a dream before she showed up at her doorstep. Jen took her in and Dakota became part of her family. i loved that cat to pieces when i lived in saint augustine.
well, i have been befrinded by a very special cat here in san antonio. i've never formally named her, but she showed up on my back porch one day last year extremely skin and bones. she would eat the bugs that lived in our yard for food. being the biggest animal lover that i am, i started to care for her (outside only, of course!). it seemed i could just sense when she would come around.

she doesnt show up as frequent anymore. it may go weeks before i see her. but it seems that when i do its always at a time when i'm feeling down, and just the sight of her cheers me up.
she didnt appear in a dream like Dakota did, but she is special to me.

She is so precious! Is she as tiny as I think she is?! That's a lot of food in front of her widdle cutey kitty face... ok. I'm done losing IQ points in the face of a cute cat!!! :D
