fever frustrations

i have been battling a high fever of 101.5 since tuesday night. i was hoping it would be gone by now, but its not. ive taken tylenol which reduces it for a few hours, but i can tell once the tylenol has worn off cause i'm sweating/shivering all over again and the thermometer confirms the fever. so i take more tylenol and the process starts all over again. its 4:45am thursday morning now and i just took a cold shower, but its pretty pointless cause i started sweating once i stepped out of the shower. yet just an hour ago i was literally shivering so bad my teeth were rattling....so frustrating!! i'm sure ya'll have dealt with this too and know how i feel. i just hardly ever get fevers, so its always an experience when it does happen!

i'd rather not go to the doctor if its just a virus and will deminish in another day or so (but i'm sure getting tired of freezing my butt off one minute then sweating buckets the next!!) the thing is this morning i'm feeling a little sore to breathe so i'm hoping whatever it is won't settle in my chest.

i do not have health insurance and we all know how costly doctors can be out of pocket plus any prescriptions, and i really can't afford it at this time. kinda ironic that i will be working in the health insurance field soon, eh?!

at any rate, lets hope and pray this virus or whatever it is doesnt evolve into something more, cause i'd really like a good nights sleep soon!!!
