the doctor said the colonoscopy went well-no polups or bleeding of the large intestine.
he said my stomach lining was irritated (called Gastritis)which may be why some of the stools have black in them and why i've had stomach aches. he prescribed something to take to help that, but also took some biopses of the stomach and small intestine.
he said it may just be Irritable Bowl Syndrome, but wanted to rule out other things that have the same symptoms as IBS so took some more blood to run a couple other tests. (Helicobacter pylori bacterial infection ,Sedimentation Rate , Celiac disease , and thyroid)
thankfully the sedative they gave me did knock me out. i was worried!
i go back in a couple weeks for the follow up with both him and my general doctor. hopefully they will have some answers to why i've been feeling lousy. i just want to have my energy back again and not be dizzy and nausious. is that too much to ask?! between the obgyn, heart doctor, and internal medicine doctor (gastro doctor) i've been poked and prodded over most of my body. thats it. no more!! if nobody has a concrete answer for me than thats just tough, i'll live with being lightheaded,etc.
no more doctors!!
