mini-vacation

tomorrow early morning i'm off to Florida for my 4.5 day mini-vacation. i am really looking forward to it. over the past 5 years i usually take a break in May and visit friends and family in Florida. this year during that time i was starting a new job, so i couldnt take my trip. but now that i'm back at the old job where its alot more flexible to take time off i'm making my journey now. it's been way too long for a sanity break!! cool thing is that today we got another bonus from one of our companies! woohoo, yeah spending money! :) great timing. in fact, its the bonus we got last month that is paying for most of the trip already. yes, its a good thing i went back to my old job! and another highlight of this trip is seeing a Spurs pre-season game live tomorrow. can it get any better?

so here's hoping for great weather in FL, good times with friends and family, a win for the Spurs (we've won all our preseason games so far) and a nice little break from the world.
