this song has been playing over and over in my ipod the past couple days. its another song from Mark Schultz (who i've spoken of before on here) from his album Broken and Beautiful. Mark Schultz has got to be one of the best storytellers ever. when i first listened to country music i always enjoyed the sappy story kind of songs because there was always a kind of twist at the end...same with Mark on alot of his songs. but this song is more of a chorus than a story. just picture this dialogue between you and God. i know i've pleaded with Him before to come home, but His Fatherly advice is something to strive and live towards daily.
Until I See You Again
Oh child, precious one
Let your life shine like the sun
But you say “How long ‘til I can come home
‘Til I can rest in your arms again”
And I say “Not long but don’t miss this life and I’ll be
Waiting ‘til then”
(Chorus)
Live with the wonder of a child
Pray with your arms thrown open wide
Love with a love that has no end
Until I see you again
