2008

this is the first year in a very long time where i actually was awake at the turn of midnight and ushered in 2008. usually i'm fast asleep by 10pm! but this year i was over at a friends house till about 11:15 and by the time i got home it was close to midnight. i was still wide awake, so when the fireworks went off outside i actually heard them. i gotta say though, not much to get all hyped up about. now, if we were downtown San Antonio like i have done once before, then it would be all crazyness. but once is enough. too many people, too loud, just not my style. i prefer to be safe and sound in my own home. so now that its 2008 all i can say is its gotta start way better than 2007 ended....and we all know a change is gonna come for 2008 in just a few months. definatly something to look forward to!
