i read here this morning that the broadway show Rent will stop production on June 1 after a 12 year run. i love Rent!! i saw the movie several times in the theatre and bought it on DVD, saw the touring company when it came to San Antonio last year, and read biography of Anthony Rapp which talks about the development of the show and the life of Jonathan Larson. i just love the message the show tells.
i was very lucky to see alot of musicals in London when i lived overseas, but i've always wanted to go to Broadway and see a show there. guess Rent won't be one of the options if i ever get there. :(

ya, moving to Fl would be cool, but we can barely afford to be where we're at much less make a move. but hey, good thinking! :)
did i hit something that removed the Legally Blond broadway comment from lilricky? if so, SORRY!! or did you remove it yourslf? anyway, ihad to comment, because we went to see that new Will Smith movie which takes place in future NYC, and of course they had some various broadway posters in the background, of which Legally Blond was one of them. i gotta agree with you==where the heck did that come from? kinda puts shows like Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, etc on a whole new level!!!
