updates...

first i wanted to say thanks to all of you out there who have kept us in your thoughts and prayers. obviously we have been through some struggles and things have been tough. but as my preacher says "God is in controll, and HE is good!".

there have been some good news in the past few days. but before i go on about that, i just have to say the best thing thats happened is this tough time has brought me and chris not only closer in our marriage to eachother, but to God. we needed desperatly to humble ourselves before Him and confess we couldnt do it on our own, but only through His strength and that daily our outlook needs to be God first, no matter what. and you know what? ever since that time of confession we've been at more peace. granted, there are still issues and problems. but there's nothing like the peace and grace of God which envelops us. so if all this was meant to draw us back closer to Him, than i'm ok with that.

so here's some good things as of late=

1)Kaitlyn-man, she is a rocker and shaker! :) i've been feeling her move more and more, but yesterday was the first time that i had my hand on my belly and she kicked so hard my hand actually bounced! this happened about 5 times all in the same spot within 2-3 minutes. then she settled down. but it was sooooo cool :) :) :)

2)hunger-no, not physical hunger (though thats increasing too, drats!) but the desire to get into the Word. i've been stagnent for so long. when i was in college taking theology courses i got burned out on the Bible. it had become an assignment, text book and not something i did on my own because i wanted to. as of late though when i do read the Word its so refreshing, like a brand new book. i'm very excited about that.

3)no foreclosure!!!-we are weeks away from having to foreclose on our rental property in North Carolina. but within the past 24 hours we had two calls from interested investors...and today both of them said they wanted to buy it! once everything is signed, sealed, and delivered i'll do the happy dance. for now i'm still a little cautious, but this is definatly sounding like good news!
