30 week ultrsound photos

today was picture day for Caitlin! it was remarkable this time, because she would open and close her eyes and open and close her mouth for us to see. she is a healthy girl, everything looks good. she is head down and the doctor said she'll prob remain that way the rest of the time. (i have a feeling when i felt her in my ribs last week it was when she was turning). she is weighing in at 3lbs 9oz at this point, right on schedule according to the doctor. in the pictures below you can see her face...in the first one her right eye is open=you can see her upper and bottom lids. it also looks to me like there is a hint of a smile. and of course she is still a fan of her arm and hands being close to her face (she is holding it by the left side of her chin in the first picture). the second picture captured her with her mouth open. you can see her little tongue,too! the base of her fist (on the left side) is parallel to her tongue.

oh ya, and in regards to my sugar numbers, the doctor said my fasting was high but that seems to be because i'm not eating my bedtime snack. so i have got to eat that from now on...if not next time it will prob be insulin time. imagine that, a struggle to have to eat. can you imagine?!
