Spurs decision night

unlike last year, this year i have not posted about every single Spurs game that has been played. but i am still an avid fan, and have seen most games (on tv...only one i saw live this year was in Orlando). this year the western conference has been brutal and tough and the rankings change on a daily basis. (to put it in perspective out of the top 8 teams in the west 7 have won 50+ games this year....in the eastern confrence only 3 teams out of the top 8 have won at least 50 games.) the potential matchups for the first round of the western finals is crazy...in any previous years the first round games could have easily been the confrence final matches, not just the eliminations! so with that being said, tonight is a pivital game for the Spurs. our last regular game of the season against a tough opponent-Utah Jazz. if we win this game then we are guaranteed 3rd place and homecourt advantage. if we lose this game there will be a 3-way tie for 3rd place, and due to our various records this season that would put us in 6th place and starting on the road. our record this season is 55-26,and yet we could be #6 out of 8. thats how tough it is....its still anybody's game.
