what a weekend

this was quite a busy weekend for us and we got alot accomplished!! on saturday night, after getting home from work, we decided to put together the crib. on the reviews of the item i had read that suppossidly a pregnant lady who was 7 months along had assembled the crib in 2.5 hours by herself. well, heck, if she could do it alone, then with 2 of us it should be a piece of cake,right?! it wasnt as bad as i feared, but i'm so glad Chris is good with this type of stuff because i got so lost, even with the directions!! it took us i'd say 2.5-3hrs to assemble. but man, it looks great!!!

sunday morning Caitlin decided to run havoc on my bladder so after the 2nd time of getting up to potty at 5am i decided to just stay awake. i had lots of ideas in my head about the nursery arrangement and came up with a plan on how to arrange stuff. before heading off to church i decided to do some maintance on my computer-bad mistake..more on that later. church was really good and our pastor finished up his series on finances. his message was on contentment. he said contentment is found in God's presence and when we are content we dont yearn for all the things of this world like its so easily to do and get ourselves into unnecessary debt. he related it to Thanksgiving...when we are content we should be full of God in the same way we are full after eating a big thanksgiving meal. i want to strive on a daily basis to be "Thanksgiving full" with God. want to join me?

sunday afternoon i had chris help me move some furniture that was in our bedroom into Caitlin's room and i then proceeded to set everything up. i really like how it looks. a video tour is to follow! now all thats missing is the dear sweet baby herself! :) unfortunatly the bad part in all this was i overdid it and ended up with some severe leg/foot cramps the rest of the day. so painful. i tried to relax by watching the Spurs game, but that didnt go over so well. i'm just telling myself that they want to get the 4th with at home tuesday and thats why they didnt sweep Phoenix sunday. right?!

anyway, sunday night i decided to hook my computer back up now that everything had been moved. as i said earlier, bad mistake. for some reason my computer crashed after i did the defrag and updates. chris thinks there may have been a corrupted file. thankfully my husband is a master computer person, and knew to reinstall the whole operating system. so i now have a fresh start. unfortunatly all my bookmarks are gone, so i gotta redo those and a few other personal settings. but it will all work out.

by the time i went to bed last night i was so achey and sore!! this morning i'm the same way, so i think i will go get that icy hot stuff and rub that all over. boy, i'll smell really great today! :) but all in all it was a very productive weekend!!! my boss asked me if i'd work an extra day this week cause she'll be out of town..should be a nice rest!
