May

i cant believe its already May. the year is almost half over already....where did the time go?!?!
May is one of the busiest months on my calendar with so many events. for example: april 30 was my dad and nadean's wedding anniversary-this year they celebrated 8 yrs-Congrats and i pray many more years to come!! may 1- this was our 9 year wedding anniversary! we went out to our favorite Italian restaurant for dinner to celebrate. may 4 is my mother-in-law's milestone birthday--Happy Birthday Elaine :) may 10 will be my 33'rd b'day (when did i get so old?!) may 11 is Mother's Day-always a difficult day for me because the year my mother passed away the day also fell on my birthday, so we celebrated one event in the morning and the other event in the afternoon. 17 days later my mom passed away. next year though Mother's Day will have a totally new positive meaning in my life! may 19 is my brother Dave's birthday--Happy Birthday Dave :) then may 27 will be the 10yr mark of mom's passing. some days it feels like just yesterday, some days i struggle to remember even just her voice.

so May is wrapped up with lots of emotion. i always breath a sigh of relief when i can flip the page over into June. and esp this year, since the end of June brings a whole new life!! but gotta get through May first...
