Caitlin is home :)

Caitlin Naomi Kinion has arrived back home :) i was released from the hospital yesterday morning.

monday i was at the hospital at 5am. they started the Pitocin around 6:20am. about 8:15 the doctor came and broke my water. after that i started feeling the contractions more and decided to go ahead with the epidural. at 2pm the nurse checked me and said to get ready to start pushing-i was already at 10cm. we were surprised...a previous nurse had told us for the first baby it was usually at least 12 hrs before pushing began! so i start pushing...and pushing....and pushing....and pushing...to make a long story short. 3 hours later the doctor said it wasnt gonna happen..we had to have a cesarian section. i was pretty upset by that point..after 3 hours of hard labor i still had to go the route of surgery. but it was what was best for Caitlin. she was just not gonna come out..she had gotten down pretty far but just wasnt getting over the hip bone to come all the way out. so right after that we went into the surgery room and i was prepped for the c-section. about 15 minutes later i heard the most beautiful cry ever and a few minutes after that i saw my daughter and my heart was broken and will never be the same again!!!! turns out that Caitlin had been laying face up instead of face down, and thats why she wasnt able to move properly through the birth canal.
