for chrismas this year we are driving to Missouri to spend the time with chris' family. there are a couple things i wanted to get for the trip, esp a pack-n-play and a playmat for caitlin to use while there. also, twice this week when i went to wake caitlin up in the morning i found her with her leg and/or arm through the slats of the crib. she didnt seem to mind, but i had to wonder how she managed to turn 180 while she slept?! it is time to get bumpers for the crib.
so i turned to my favorite places for cheap, but good, items-craigslist and goodwill. and i was not dissappointed! through clst i got a pack-n-play, Rainforest themed deluxe playmat, and Rainforest soother for a total of $65 for all three!! (total retail for these items new is easily around $110 at least) but the real steal of the day came when i went to goodwill. i found a pretty bumper, excellent condition, but no price. so i asked the guy. guess how much he wanted........$2.99!!!!!!!!!!!! i couldnt believe it!! i had found a bumper next door at Burlington for $30 and got it in case i couldnt find anything else. obviously i went right back and returned it. $2.99, i'm still in awe!
needless to say i had a great productive day!
