anticipation

i woke up this morning with a sense of anticipation. maybe because the weather is overcast and chilly today, and the tree across the street is a beautiful red color (note to self: take photo) as the leaves fall and it all ushers in the feeling of holidays. maybe because tonight at small group we'll be having fried turkey, and i've never had that before. maybe because my best friend from Florida is on her way moving here as i type in a Uhaul with her 2 girls (the rest of the family will come soon) and i've been looking forward to them moving here for years. maybe because tomorrow is Thanksgiving and my step-mom makes awesome tasting food and its always a good time at their house. maybe because my husband is currently on his way to go camping for the night and i wish him safe travels and a good restful,relaxing time so that he is rejuvinated when he returns. maybe because Caitlin is growing up so fast, and each day brings a new adventure.

yes, so much to look forward to. and i love each minute. i am truely blessed, thank you God.
