Merry Christmas everyone!
we are here in cold Missouri, but the home is warm with laughter and love. we arrived in Springfield (where Chris' grandparents live) at 3:30 yesterday morning. it was a very long drive, with a 5 hour layover in Dallas (we had to pick up Chris' brother who was flying in there from Seattle..unfortunatly he had plane problems and got very delayed). Chris parents, sister, and other grandmother came from Florida. Chris aunt is here from Texas. so our immediate Kinion family is all together now. Caitlin is being spoiled like crazy, and loving all the attention. everyone is oohing and aahing over her.
so far the highlights have been:
1) at one of the gas stations we stopped at the cashier gave Caitlin a cool purple/pink dinosaur that she had won out of one of those claw machines. Caitlin immediatly was enamored by it!
2) chris' sister Kathleen showed me how to text alot easier on my phone
3) chris' mom Elaine showed me some cool settings on my camera that i didnt know about
4) there are sooo many sweets here its a major cornocupia of good eats
5) having time to myself while others hang out with Caitlin....ah, refreshing!
there will be lots more as the days progress..thus the pt.1 heading on this blog. also, alot of pictures will be posted eventually. we will be here until sunday.
i think we are on the verge of opening gifts, so i better get goin!
