*sigh*. i've had "one of those days" and i can't wait for it to be over. it started last night when i coughed all night and today can't seem to get rid of a bad headache. my voice sounds like kermit the frog. i had told chris earlier in the week that i'd take caitlin out to Sea World or something this afternoon so he could have a day to himself. so after church (which has been the brightest thing so far today) i took some more drugs hoping the ache would go away and headed to Sea World. i had not even gotten a third of the way when traffic was backin up. not in the mood to deal with that, i changed course and decided to try the zoo (which is in the opposite direction). as i approached the zoo there were so many people and cars that a parking space was very limited. so i turned around again and basically drove around San Antonio for an hour just to pass time. i was getting frustrated with that and decided to just come home. meanwhile chris is out at the movies with some friends seeing Star Trek. lucky him!! i'd like to have seen it too, but someone has to watch the baby.
i wonder if i'm really ready to have another child..if i feel resentful in a way about having to watch my daughter instead of getting to go to the movies, for example, then adding another child on top of that will only enhance those feelings. but i also i think if i got some rest i'd feel better. not feeling well, being tired, and having things not go to plan can really take a toll on the emotions.
who knows. its jsut one of those days.

Lani - all mothers I know of have moments of "I wish I were doing...". No one is perfect. Rely on Christ for your strength and take every thought captive. I'm sure you'll catch another movie sometime your life - at least before Caitlin is 2. May God bring additions into your life in the way of free babysitting. Also, if the Lord wills - may he give you the strength to have another one!
