ch-ch-ch changes

this week has included several changes for the kinion family, all for the better:

• we are now a cable-free home. in effort to reduce our monthly expenses we have disconnected our cable. instead we have a computer hooked up to the tv and will use sites like hulu and the network websites to watch television. this is making a drastic reduction in our bills.
• i also said goodbye to the car insurance company i've had for 10+ years and switched to another. again, i saved a bunch of money. and as much as i appreciate loyalty, right now every penny counts!
• since caitlin will be 1 next week and is already above average growth-wise i decided to turn her carseat around a few days early. she is now a forward facing child :) and she does enjoy seeing the scenery as its coming rather than going!
• i have also decided to switch her to regular (whole) milk instead of formula. she is doing well with that too. though i think i'll still keep some forumla around since thats easy to use for a quick bottle when traveling, etc. but at home she will be a milk girl! hopefully she won't have chris' dairy allergy. but so far so good!

so anyway, thats whats going on around here!
