today the circumstances of life are making me feel down. for example i didnt think being let go from my job 2 weeks ago would bother me so much....but it just sucks. i was used to being on a tight budget. but i'm realizing that now things are really tight. and not just that but when i worked one day a week it was a chance to have a break from caitlin and be around other adults. i miss that. and now because of the loss of income we'll need to make other sacrifices like stopping gym membership (which is ok cause since hurting my leg i've hardly been) and either reducing or stopping the physical therapy sessions for my leg (which will only prolong any kind of healing...and even then i'm questioning its effictiveness cause the leg still hurts and we dont know why). i dont want to start job hunting right now cause i'd need time off to move when that happens, hopefully soon.
ah yes, our house..its been stressful getting it ready and constantly keeping it neat and tidy with a toddler running around the place. we've had 2 calls of people wanting to look at the house, but when they drove by they didnt like the curb appeal or the neighborhood. well, if you live in texas you know there has been a drought. our grass has suffered the consequence and there's not much we can do about it. i do believe just the right person will come along sooner or later. good thing is that we are in no hurry to move out of this house, so if it takes months we'll still be here. at least when we do sell we will make a little profit and that will help alot.
anyway, i dont mean to throw a pity party. i know there are people in alot worse circumstances than me. i am grateful for what i do have. and that face in the photo above-she makes it all worthwhile.
