Sing to the King Who is coming to reign

A song declaring that we belong to Jesus

i woke up this morning with a heavy heart and the song above in my head. i confess i haven't been too good at the praising of God lately. there is just so much going on in the world these days that gets me down. i have friends right now who are dealing with illnesses both in and out of hospitals, dealing with relationship and marriage struggles, dealing with financial setbacks, dealing with child problems, dealing with family difficulties. its enough sometimes that i just gotta stop and ask God "why?". and then i am reminded that we live in a fallen world. it was not meant to be this way. oh how i long to have been in Eden when everything was right. but the good news is that one day, for those who believe and know Jesus, things will be perfect again. and its that hope that pulls me through.
