whoohoo!!! this news is almost as good as the Spurs leading our playoff series with Denver. yep, i really did say that.
last week i was discouraged about the feral cats in my neighborhood. i had made several calls which were leading nowhere. well,i just got a call back from someone who volunteers for the San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition. they specialize in trap and releasing. they are very concerned about the overpopulation of feral cats in the city, and will help you out with spaying/neutering. then its up to you to bring them back "home" and release them into the "wild".
the wonderful news is that for only $10 they will spay/neuter cats (even pregnant ones!!!!) and give them their shots. for only $10!!!! amazing!! :) :) :) i set up a time this friday to bring in the very sweet,friendly,loveable cat who lets me pet her and pick her up. i'll be able to just put her in the carrier with no trapping involved. i'll see how that goes and then try to trap the other kitties that frequent my yard and bring them in.
