going into the game i honestly didnt know who would come out the victor. obviously i was rooting for the Spurs, but being that Cleveland is a better team at home than on the road i just wasnt sure. but we won, and "One More For Four" (NBA titles that is) as a San Antonio slogan has become, is very much a reality. GO SPURS GO! :)
a few SPURS stats from the game, via San Antonio Express News:
The Spurs will try to complete the sweep Thursday. No NBA team has successfully come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a best-of-7 series.......The 147 combined points were the second-fewest ever in a Finals game. The 27 total points in the third quarter matched the fewest in any Finals quarter. ......they have now helped author two of the three-lowest scoring games in Finals history (their 80-67 victory over the Knicks in 1999 was the other)..
quote from Brent Barry:
"We were the caterpillar before it becomes the butterfly in this game," Barry said. "Maybe next game, we will get to see the butterfly, but this was one of those brown, furry caterpillars that you think is poisonous, and then your kid picks it up and tries to eat it."
