tonight is the first game of Spurs preseason, which means the official start is just around the corner (October 30). i can't wait!!! this drought from basketball has been hard, i don't know how seasoned fans do it each year. anyway, i'm getting anxious. i will get to see a preseason game when i go to Orlando October 25. the Spurs play the Magics and me and my best friend and her son will be there to watch again. it will be a fun time.
i love what analyst Kenny Smith has to say about the Spurs in his preseason rankings (via Yahoo!Sports) bolding mine:
1. San Antonio Spurs – They really didn't add much to their team. Why? Because the foreign legion team of Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Tim Duncan is still the best. (Yes, Duncan is from the Virgin Islands, but they're foreign to me!) Depth, youth and experience makes them the blueprint franchise.
