2cm dialated and more bed rest

at my regul ar obgyn appt today my dr discovered that i am already 2cm dialated. the nonstress test came out good, but i'm still having contractions. so i have been given some medication to stop
those and ordered to more bed rest. (needless to say i went by work and turned in my key to my boss....bye bye!) she is wanting Caitlin to stay put until at least 36 weeks, so thats about 1.5 more weeks at the earliest. some women go from 2-10 cm quickly, some women can be at 2 cm for over a month...i just dont know how i'll be. its interesting that last week i was not dialated but the preterm labor test was positive and now i've started to dialate. who knows....
i asked the dr about the whole close to 9lb at full term thing and she said she wouldnt let me go to full term anyway. i'm pretty nervous and a little scared...Caitlin is gonna be here sooner than we all thought!
