breastfeeding class

wednesday night we attended a class on breastfeeding. my initial thoughts were that it seems a little intimidating, but i think i'll be alright. it just takes some adjustment, but hopefully Caitlin will be a pro and we'll both learn easily together. the part i found most interesting was all the different type of breast pumps. i wonder though how many moms who go back to work full time have a chance during their working hours to sit and pump milk like they suggest. i know i would never be able to take 20 min twice a day while at work to pump my milk (if i was still working where i was). i still dont know whats gonna happen work wise for me once Caitlin is here, but the teacher said if need be you can use a combination of formula and breast milk. i'd rather not have to rely on formula until absolutely necessary. there is so many more advantages to breastmilk. anyway, we'll just have to wait and see how it all works out! any moms who'd like to share their breastfeeding experiences feel free to do so!
