lovely birthday

i just had to share what a nice day i had yesterday for my 33rd birthday. aside from the fact that i turned 33 (when did i pass 25???) it was a day of pampering of sorts for me and since it had been a long time since i did that i very much enjoyed it :) i had recd some gift cards and so i decided to use them and go shopping just for myself..no groceries or anything of that sort allowed! first i went to Walmart and got a couple maternity shirts and a couple pairs of shoes (my foot has grown a shoe size since being pregnant). after that i went to Babies R Us where i had a free maternity portrait session done with a coupon i got when registering there for the baby registry. that was fun, though getting in a couple of the posing positions as a pregnant lady was a task! i got a free 8x10 with the coupon and chose the picture above. and thanks to a giftcard we had at that store too i also got a sheet that had 4 of the other poses on it. you can view the photos i had taken by going to http://mystudio.kiddiekandids.com/
and typing in sitting code: 599005661 code# W9EAAD. when that was done i went to another store where i returned a shirt i had been given that didnt fit right, and used that $ to get frames for the new photos. then i went to my folks place and when chris was done with work we all went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse for my b'day dinner (thanks dad!). that sure was yummy!! and then me, dad and chris decided to see a late showing of Iron Man (thanks again dad!). pretty good movie, better than i was expecting. by the time i got home and ready for bed it was close to 1:30am. it was a very long day, but so worth it. one of the better birthdays i can remember in a long while. a great start to a what will be a very memorable year!!!!
