pre-Ike

yesterday i went to the store to get some bottled water and flashlights. apparently so did most of San Antonio because it was crowded!! we're all just waiting for Hurricane Ike and what if anything will be here in SA. its suppossed to hit around Houston, which is about 3 hours east of here, tonight and early tomorrow morning. the weatherman says we'll get a few inches of rain and some strong winds, but thats about it. the school district where chris works is closing the schools early today. guess they want people to be prepared. i'm not too worried. i've got water and formula to make caitlin's food, i've got bird seed on hand for the birds, and a can of beans and pineapple in the cupboard for us. we're all set :) see ya on the flipside!
