cute at 2am

i wish i knew why caitlin's feeding schedule has reverted to waking during the night again...she had been consistantly sleeping through the night for almost a month before it changed. must be a growth spurt or something. anyway, this mornig a 2am she woke again. i got up to take care of her even though i still feel yucky ( a pounding headache, stuffy nose, sore throat, aching ear, etc...in other words i'm still battling allergies. ugh.) well, i hear caitlin making cute babbling sounds so i figure i have a few minutes before she gets insistant for food so i make a quick potty stop. then it gets quiet so i'm really hoping she has gone back to sleep. when i enter her room (right across from the bathroom, i kept the bathroom light on so i didnt have to turn her room light on) i find her with her head pressed up against the end of the crib and her hand outstretched to the bumpers. i'm thinking horray for the bumper pads, but my little cutie has found a way to still get her hands through the bars of the crib. only this time its on purpose as she is lifting the bumper pad up, looking through the crib slats for me, then putting it back down. she repeats this over and over. i just had to laugh. she is too smart for her own good sometimes, even at 2am!!
