a strange place for rest

i have been putting off getting the oil change on my car. i had a great coupon i wanted to use, but the shop was always so busy and i didnt want to wait forever with a fussy baby on hand too. well, yesterday chris graciously watched caitlin for me so that i could have some time to myself. and you know what? i spent it at the auto shop. and its just what i needed to recharge my batteries inside. because there you are for at least 30 minutes with no way of leaving to do errands. (since the vehicle is being worked on!). no housework can be done. no grocery shopping. no running after the birds. no taking care of a baby. just me and the 4 walls of the waiting room. and i took total advantage of it and had a little catnap. it was lovely!! Steven Curtis Chapman has a lyric in one of his songs "no better place on earth than the road that leads to heaven"... i agree, but i gotta tell ya, yesterday that auto shop was a pretty good place too!
