the working world

this past week has been a busy one for me. my boss was out of town, so i spent some extra days working in the office to help out our already short staffed group (plus the extra income really helps us too!). i am so thankful to friends and family who willingly watched caitlin for me so that i could to this. but i tell ya, i'm pooped. normally being a stay-at-home mom practically 24/7 wears me out, and then to add another job on top of that for 3 days, well...it was enough. it felt wierd dropping caitlin off at a babysitter, despite that these were my friends that i trust completely. it solidified in my mind that the day care route is not something i want to have to do anytime soon. i'm soo thankful that chris' teaching job is providing us the chance for me to stay home and care for caitlin. i salute all those out there that do have to deal with daycare and 40 hour work weeks, not to mention single moms and dads who do it all themselves...ya'll have such strength!
