Persue After Charity
Charity is the one thing that is not cast down by another's good fortune because it is not jealous. It is the one things its own good fortune does not puff up because it is not conceited. It is the one thing that is not pricked by a bad conscience because it does not act boastfully. It is steady and unshaken amid reproaches; it is well-disposed in the face of hatred, calm in the face of anger, innocent in the midst of intrigues, groaning in the midst of iniquity, breathing again in the presence of truth.- Sermon 350,2
