weekend plans

tomorrow chris and i are taking a trip to the coast (Corpus Christi/Port Aransas). this will be the first extended alone time we've had together since Caitlin was born 8 months ago. i am going to work a half day and chris will take caitlin to my folks house. when i'm done with work we'll head on out. we're staying the night and returning sometime sunday. there are 2 things i'm really looking forward to: 1) sleeping in on sunday!!! 2) the beach/ocean smell. i am also hoping the congestion i'm dealing with (yes, again) will benefit from the ocean air. it will be good to get away and have time to reconnect without the birds or baby taking up our attention.
