shelves

almost done

finished (except for some staining which will come later)

and while i'm on the topic of rooms, i have to brag about my hubby. we have a room we'd like to turn into a library/computer room. but in order to do so we need some storage for our books. so chris, along with our good friend scott, measured and planned out everything needed to make a couple bookshelves. they bought the wood (pine) and other materials and spent an afternoon constructing 2 awesome looking bookshelves. i think they look great, don't you! and for a much more reasonable cost than buying something like this retail! the ultimate goal is that chris will build all the shelves/furniture needed for this room. one step at at time as we can afford to do so, but in the end i know it will look fabulous!!
