i got a call from my regular dr today who i saw a couple days ago. he drew more bloodwork at that time to double check from when they did it at the medclinic over the weekend. my liver numbers had increased slightly from even a few days prior, they are still "abnormal". on sunday the ALT was 46, tuesday it was 57 (range 0-35)...AST was 44 on sunday, tuesday it was 49 (range 0-38). he said if they had been like 4X higher tuesday it would be more of an urgent situation. but for right now he wants me to get a liver ultrasound and then maybe more bloodwork depending on what that shows.
when i called the imaging place and asked if they could do it on a weekend the lady said "we have an opening tomorrow at 830" guess there's no time like the present...
ugh. i thought i was done with dr procedures!! since i'm not jaundice or have any other indications of blockage i'm hoping its just something stupid. when i asked him if it could be due to medications he didnt think so because the ones i'm on wont mess with the liver. so who knows...
when i hear something i'll be sure to post it.
in the meantime my fever went away, so thats good. i'm still a little queasy in my stomach though. one of my coworkers was out for a few days with the flu. and i think i have managed to spread something to my dear husband because he's starting to not feel well. sorry!! its this new job i tell ya!!
