ballons and sundae! nobody messes with Chris and his steak fries

i have had a wonderful birthday this year! i'm so thankful to all my friends and family who sent b'day greetings via Facebook, email, and phone calls. i feel so loved!!
the highlights of my birthday were 1) caitlin was very well behaved all day. thats always a good thing! 2) i sorted through some stuff and have several boxes ready to go into a yard sale (whenever i have one) 3) i got a birthday coupon for a free smoothie at Keva Juice and redeemed it 4) i was surprised by some friends with amazing photos of caitlin (see caitlin's blog if you havent yet to see a sample) 5) i got a birthday coupon for a free burger at Red Robin so we went there for dinner tonight. and i even got balloons, a free hot fudge sundae, and sung to by the staff!
so all in all it was a very nice time. if this is how 35 is starting out, then i'm really hoping for a great rest of the year too :)
